Mission

AIME Research exists to make the science of consciousness accessible. We build measurement tools and publish research that help anyone—from students to research institutions—study how minds work, whether those minds are biological or artificial.

The LOC Framework

The Level of Consciousness (LOC) framework is a unified scientific instrument for measuring cognitive coherence. It defines 13 cognitive functions and a True Coherence metric that applies identically to transformer layer activations in AI models and frequency-domain power in human EEG. The scoring algorithm is proprietary and performed server-side.
